Product Description

High Quality Virgin White PVC Resin
PVC is a white powder with an amorphous structure, low branching degree, and a glass transition temperature of 77~90 ºC. It begins to decompose at around 170 ºC [1]. It has poor stability to light and heat. When exposed to sunlight for a long time or above 100 ºC, it will decompose and produce hydrogen chloride, which will further catalyze decomposition, causing color change and rapid decline in physical and mechanical properties. In practical applications, stabilizers must be added to improve the stability to heat and light. 
The molecular weight of PVC produced in industrial production generally ranges from 50000 to 110000, with significant polydispersity. The molecular weight increases with the decrease of polymerization temperature, without a fixed melting point. It begins to soften at 80-85 ºC, becomes viscoelastic at 130 ºC, and becomes viscous at 160-180 ºC; Has good mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of around 60 MPa and an impact strength of 5-10 kJ/m2; Has excellent dielectric properties. PVC is insoluble in common solvents, but expands in monomers and certain chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents.

PVC, abbreviated as PVC, produces approximately 40 million tons of PVC annually. PVC is a polymer formed by the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) with initiators such as peroxides and azo compounds, or by the free radical polymerization mechanism under the action of light and heat. Vinyl chloride homopolymer and vinyl chloride copolymer are collectively referred to as vinyl chloride resin. PVC was once the world's largest producer of general-purpose plastics and has been widely used. PVC has two types: hard (sometimes abbreviated as RPVC) and soft. Hard polyvinyl chloride is used for building pipes, doors and windows. It is also used to manufacture plastic bottles, packaging, bank cards, or membership cards. Adding plasticizers can make PVC softer and more elastic. It can be used for pipeline, cable insulation, flooring, signage, phonograph records, inflatable products, and rubber substitutes
